Doom/No Security split LPOne of the best and most classic split LPs in the history of punk, up there with Void/Faith and Vicious Circle/Perdition and ENT/CHAOS UK splits (any other classic splits I'm forgetting?). This is probably my favorite DOOM release and mos def my fave NO SECURITY release. In fact NO SECURITY summed it up best when describing their sound, they called it 'Blistering Hardcore'. Fitting. Fitting for this split as well. Genre defining bands on one LP, ya just can't beat it.
Amazing record! Yeah, you're forgetting the classic Lärm/Stanx, Subverse/Desecration, Deathtoll/Blown To Bits, Electro Hippies/Generic, Extreme Noise Terror/Chaos UK and... HERESY/CONCRETE SOX!
ReplyDeleteAhhhh...yes....for classics, i'll def say CHAOS UK/ENT & HERESY/CONCRETE SOX! I love ELECTRO HIPPIES, but that splits not my fave. The others are great too, but classic? Deathtoll/Blown To Bits classic?
