Casa De Chihuahuas 'Amat Victoria Curam'I LOVE THIS ALBUM!!! This is my friends and their blue grass/jug band, Casa De Chihuahuas. Every song on here is so full of life and death and pain and beauty and every song is inspiring and passionate and one song will make ya laugh and the next will make ya cry, this is truely an amazing country-blue grass-jug band. Honestly, not cause their buddies of mine, this is the best bluegrass album to come out in 10/20 years, really. You got to get this!
My fave songs on here are Tongues Turn To Wine,WW4 and Firefly. Other stand outs are Love Is The Rounder,Tuscaloosa Mamma and Horseshoe. But really, every song is sincere, candid, haunting and memorable.
Also, they have an LP after this one, their first, which Ill post sooner or later. Ya'all come back now, ya'hear?
I've been listening to this nonstop for the past 3 days. I think it's really amazing, kinda sloppy but in a way that makes the music seem really intimate, like it's being played by friends of yours. I think my fave songs are the Ballad of Frederick Edwin Church and Welcome to Hell, love em back to back.
