Skuggeheim 'Vinterrikets Konge'One of the new Norwegian bands that's carrying the torch of old. This is Skuggeheims 2007 demo and its fuckin amazing. It really has that 1993 feeling to it, like Immortal's Pure Holocaust mixed with Satyricons Dark Medieval Times and a hint of Sweden's Dissection( not necessarily the sound, more like the aura of it). Its so nice to see Norwegian bands popping up again as it seems its been a while since anything really memorable has come from there in the past decade.
Also, this is 'officially' distributed by the great Frossbrenna Creations label.
Post script- the first song is a bit fucked up(dont think its on purpose, suppose it could be, probably just the copy I got my hands on), just bear with it cause once ya get past it ya wont be disappointed.
